LUDO ANNOUNCES FALL TOUR AND BEGINS RECORDING FOURTH ALBUM

Island Recording Artists To Build on Success of You’re Awful, I Love You

New York, NY— After 100,000 albums sold and fifteen months of touring in support of their Island Records debut album, You’re Awful, I Love You, loveable rock band Ludo has begun writing material for their major label follow-up, and plans to record before the summer is over with producer Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Faith No More, Train), who was also at the helm for the band’s Island debut.

Ludo has also announced a limited run of tour dates for the fall, but these won’t be just any tour dates.  The band is headlining what is being billed as The Broken Bride Tour, in which Ludo will perform songs from each of their previous three releases, including their entire 2005 rock opera, Broken Bride.  Tour dates are listed below and joining Ludo will be Ha Ha Tonka, Meese, and Without a Face.

About Ludo

Vigilante bushwhackers with a heart of gold, who are out to bang your psyche and love you dead – the four-man conspiracy known as LudoAndrew Volpe (vocals, guitar), Tim Ferrell (guitar, vocals), Tim Convy (Moog synthesizer, keyboards, vocals), and Matt Palermo (drums, vocals) – came together in bits and pieces, settling into their lineup back in 2003, when they inhabited a 900 sq. ft. smarmy abode in Tulsa and started playing shows.  Four years, two self-released records, and hundreds of shows later, they signed with Island/Def Jam and created You’re Awful, I Love You.  The album earned Ludo appearances on The Tonight Show, Jimmy Kimmel Live, the Warped Tour, and MTV.  As they begin work on their fourth release, Ludo continues to do what they set out to do six years ago:  “Entertain people without making them dumber.”
